nEVEn — SketchUp Intelligence Protocol
▶Does nEVEn run in the background?
It asks before it runs. nEVEn scans on a timer to catch viewport lag early, but always prompts first. Auto-scans stay active by default & user can disable auto-scans completely.
▶Why are some options read-only?
Buttons appear when they're actually needed. Find and Select go read-only after they've done their job—rescan to bring them back. If something looks inactive, it's waiting for the right moment.
▶How does offline activation work?
nEVEn generates a small file from your machine. Send it to us, we send back your permanent key. No internet needed after that — it lives on your workstation.
▶What are the purchase terms?
One payment, one machine, lifetime access. The Free Edition lets you test the full tool before you decide — so all purchases are final. Need to move to a new machine? Contact support.
WDE — Working Design & Documentation Engine
▶Does WDE delete manually drawn 3D geometry?
No! WDE tags its own generated elements and updates only WDE objects during rebuilds, leaving your custom modeling untouched.
▶Do I need to save my SketchUp model file before generating?
Yes! Saving your model file enables WDE to record your project history, material settings, and module preferences.
▶Can I export WDE 2D scenes to Layout or CAD?
Yes! WDE prepares clean, orthographic scenes ready for SketchUp Layout or CAD vector line exports.
Troubleshooting & Stability
▶Encountered a bug or a feature not responding?
We constantly release minor hotfixes and stability patches under the same version number. If you run into any bug, please download and reinstall the latest copy first. Simply close SketchUp, reinstall the extension, and restart—most minor issues are resolved instantly by doing this.
